Mettle Strength Privacy Policy

Effective: September 24, 2026

Mettle Strength (“Mettle,” “we,” or “us”) is provided by Steven Kuo. This policy explains what information Mettle handles when you use the iOS app or visit this website. Contact us at support@joinmettle.app with privacy questions.

Information you enter into Mettle

Mettle stores your onboarding-completed status, weight-unit selection, routines and custom exercises, active workouts and per-set weight and rep entries, and completed workout history on your device. Equipment selections help suggest starter routines but are not saved as a separate profile. The current app does not upload these workout or onboarding records or send them to RevenueCat. Mettle does not require an account and does not provide cloud sync. Your iPhone’s own backup settings may separately affect copies of app data.

Subscription information

Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Mettle uses RevenueCat to show subscription offers, verify Pro access, process purchase and restore events, and analyze subscription purchases. RevenueCat receives purchase history and subscription status, together with a persistent, randomly generated anonymous app user ID for the installation. Mettle does not give RevenueCat your workout records or contact details, and we do not receive your payment-card details from Apple. RevenueCat’s SDK also sends the device’s current App Tracking Transparency permission status without asking for that permission. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.

Support messages and website visits

If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include so we can reply and resolve the issue. Cloudflare processes requests needed to deliver these pages, which may include standard technical information such as an IP address. This site does not use analytics, a contact form, or cookies.

How information is used and shared

We use the information described above to provide the app, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, and maintain the website. Apple processes purchases; RevenueCat processes subscription information; Cloudflare serves the website and routes support email; and Google delivers routed messages to our support inbox. The audited release app has no dedicated advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDK and makes no AI requests. RevenueCat’s purchase analytics are limited to subscription information, not your workout records. We do not use these records for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Retention and your choices

Training information stored on your device remains there until you uninstall Mettle or erase the device’s app data. There is currently no in-app delete-all control or Mettle cloud copy of your workouts. Deleting one routine does not remove completed workout history. Your iPhone’s backup settings may affect whether local data remains in an Apple-managed backup. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. To ask us to delete support correspondence or help with subscription information we control, email support@joinmettle.app. Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction records under their own policies and legal obligations.

Changes

We may update this policy as Mettle changes. The effective date above will show when the current version took effect. If a future update adds accounts, cloud sync, AI processing, workout analytics, or other data uses, we will update this policy and our App Store privacy disclosures as appropriate.
